The Bears won 2 huge game over the weekend in regulation. Their wins were over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Bridgeport. The number 2 and 3 teams in the division respectively. That's why the regulation thing was so important, no points for the opponents.
Here is my question though:
It seems that this team can turn the switch on and off whenever they would like. Should we as fans be comfortable with this team since it seems like, when they care they can beat anyone in the league but when they don't they lose to teams like Springfield?
I'm not expert on this team. I'm just a very enthusiastic fan. Right now, I do feel comfortable about this team. However, we just beat the Pens and Bridgeport on back to back nights. If we would've lost those two games, I wouldn't be happy at all.
I know the team is going to go through streaks and the goaltenders are going to get hot and cold throughout the season but this week just made it seem to me like this team turns the switch on and off whenever they think they can.
The other reason this doesn't worry me is that these guys are professionals. Once the playoffs start, these guys will turn it on and it will stay on. At least we can all hope so, right?
